artist statement: 

For this piece I wanted come back to more drug related substances. I still wanted to use the theme of sayings, like with si 11 so this is a stairway to heaven. I wanted to emphasize the vape by making large and the center of the linear perspective to show this is the end of the road. 

I used watercolor for a base of all the colors, then coming in with marker to emphasize colors and create more definition between the colors.  then going in with black pen to add further details and contrast.
