Artist statement: with this sustained investigation I wanted to show the idea behind a overdose. when talking to friends and family who have overdosed on fentanyl they all mentioned similar things, a tunnel of light. But something seeming off that is wasn't safe. I also wanted to incorporate the idea of the viewer seeing what the addict is, the view of a distorted environment and a hyperfixation on the light points. 

I used watercolor to make the base contrast for the light of the tunnel and the the other basic color bloating. I went in with color marker on top to create high definition and more details to the color. after I went in with a fine in pen to create little details.
