artist statement:

For this piece i wanted to represent eating disorders, and the pressure and addiction that come with them. I used .5 perspective to emphasize this and the repetition of numbers building and framing the person.

I wanted to show some personal experience with the piece, but also focus on the illustration aspect of the piece. I was trying to add a digital affect with the use of color marker and intentional l line work. I wanted to use very intentional color contrast as well.
