materials: black ink pen 

artist statement: I wanted to adjust my inquiry question for the new year instead of just focusing on human emotions and facial features. I wanted to start on the human body and body motion, what does a relaxed body mean or what does it tell you, how about a stiff  and Tense. By using facial features and body movements I think I can drive a deeper meaning into the pieces.

 This is not the final piece. I intend to use watercolor to color in the flowers, and add some shading around the body.  but so far I've been using sort of a comic-esque style to represent humans when I draw with pen and ink. 

 I started first wanting to paint the whole piece on a large canvas which I soon found out that I didn't have time for,  then with some artist block I scrambled out a piece that I originally designed for this project in the last couple days.  I wanted the piece to be new to show the exposure people can feel when their feelings are being laid out on the table.
