sustained investigation 2

My inquiry question was how can I show animals in a fluid but also realistic way. I feel as though I did that, I wanted the seahorse originally black and white, but I changed my mind because it seemed to not work as well with my inquiry question.

The materials I used were pastels and black charcoal paper. I thought the black paper would have worked better than white and that it would have made the shading easier but it had the opposite effect and made it harder to shade especially on the tail.

If I were to make any changes I would have made I more detailed piece and a better job on the shading of the tail. I would have done a different background that didn't stand out as much so the focus would be on the seahorse more.
