materials: time magazines, canvas, elmer's glue

artist statement: I'm very influenced by pop art and culture, I always have liked to add some political meaning behind the most of my heart. I would consider myself to be an activist and I'm very active in local process and politics. I'm very strongly motivated and opinionated and I wanted to be able to add that into my sustained investigation process and art.

I used Time magazine's that were specific, they also kissed on voting, women's rights, climate change and all the topics I have an interest in. by using this to Pacific magazines I wanted to create a person that represents motivation and the act of change.

I started with a simple face, kind of using different parts of different photos to create a person, then using clips of Articles and pictures I felt properly represented each magazine to create a piece that not only I was connected to but was connected to the outside world.
