artist statement: when I started deciding what I wanted to do for and investigation human emotions. For the first starting point I wanted to focus on a feeling that I have personally experienced in that past, so i focused on depression anxiety, grief and dread.

I started by sketching many times the women I wanted to portray her as tried, and almost fading away as the dark consumed her. because that's how I felt and i know others have.

I first sketch out where I wanted the women on the page, then I took spay paint and paper to make the dark outs and marks. Then I filled out the sketch with charcoal to make the shading and hair.
