Zoomed Shoe

I drew enlarged versions of my shoes on a certain area, then used that certain area to abstract by adding colors and patterns to. I used card-making pen markers and permanent markers. I chose to make this because I thought of a idea to do with using laces going off of the page and leaving an open space in the middle. So that is what I did.

The techniques shown are pattern designs and color variation. This is shown with the different colors I used and patterns I created throughout the whole piece. My piece evolved by how I added on to the designs a lot and made them more interesting.

The meaning behind this artwork is that sometimes you have to look a little closer to find what you are searching for. Tihs relates to my life because I feel like I need to do this more.
