Time Capsules

The story behind this work is that we needed to create three pieces to look back on after we've improved in this class. We needed to create a specific part of our face, our hand in an interesting position, and an object used regularly. This relates to my life because I like eyes, I like rock music, and I wanted to be funny about the object that is used regularly.

I used watercolor paper because I like thick paper, and I used an HB pencil.

I roughly sketched out each drawing before I added more detail and went over it darker. My projects evolved because I added highlights to the eye, added more wrinkles to the hand, and added light shaded spots to the toilet. My next steps would be to add more detail to the eye, fix the proportions of the hand, and edit the angles of some of the lines on the toilet.
