Silly Monster that Loves Sweets

We were given the task to pick two cards with drawing prompts on them, choose one, and create it. I chose one about a silly monster that loves to eat sweets. I chose that card because I personally really like monsters and made-up creatures. It brings me joy to recreate them in my art. I also love food, so I thought it would be a fun card to choose.

I used regular drawing paper, and HB pencil, and a fine-point black ink stamping marker.

I started out with a rough sketch on a separate piece of paper, then drew it on the drawing paper, and carefully traced over it with the marker. My project evolved because I added ears and more horns to the monster, and added all the sweets. I was at first just going to draw the monster with candy, but I realized that sweets had a wider range. My next step could be to add color, any sort. Whether it be watercolor, colored pencil, or collage papers, it would make this piece much better.
