Extended Blind Contour

I created a representational abstract piece with a girls face, long hair, cities, and butterflies. It was made by drawing three things in permanent maker without looking: my face, my hand, and a friend's face. I turned the blind contour of my face into a girl with long hair, and the peace sign fingers into city buildings. Then I turned the other face into a butterfly because the eyes reminded my of spots on exotic looking butterflies.

The composition techniques that are shown in this piece are watercolor painting with watercolor colored pencils. This is shown on all of the objects portrayed in the artwork. This project evolved because I continued to add permanent marker to the blind contour to make it look better and like something else.

In the artwork, the girl is daydreaming about the life of people versus nature, and how they coexist. This relates to my life because I like to think about this topic a lot.
