When the angels went away from them to heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let us go, then, to Bethlehem to see this thing that has taken place, which the Lord has made known to us. ”So they went in haste and found Mary and Joseph, and the infant lying in the manger. When they saw this, they made known the message that had been told them about this child. All who heard it were amazed by what had been told them by the shepherds. And Mary kept all these things, reflecting on them in her heart. Then the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all they had heard and seen, just as it had been told to them. Luke 2:15-20

After Each Mass on January 3rd & 4th | Visitation Hall
The Archdiocese of Louisville is currently engaged in a Parish Planning Process to address operational challenges shaped by changing demographics, the age and use of parish facilities, stewardship resources, and the number of available priests to serve.
Phase I invited all parishes to complete a Quantitative and Qualitative Report, gathering data on parish membership, sacramental life, Mass attendance, and finances, while also identifying each parish’s unique mission, strengths, and challenges. This phase was completed in August.
Phase II now asks parishes to offer recommendations regarding possible changes to parish structures. These may include the creation of new parishes, closures, mergers, clustering, or other pastoral alternatives. This phase culminates in a report due in late January 2026.
As part of this planning process, Fr. Chris will host Town Hall meetings following each Mass on the weekend of January 3–4. Parishioners are invited to share their input and recommendations for potential changes within our parish and across our Deanery.
Your feedback will also help guide parish and school leadership as we plan for the future, ensuring we continue to meet the spiritual, pastoral, and educational needs of the St. Albert the Great Catholic Community.
As we reflect, listen, and discern together, send us your Holy Spirit to guide our hearts and minds. Grant us wisdom, courage, and hope, that we may have hearts open to new possibilities!

Weekend of December 27th & 28th
Christmas is just a few days away. Perhaps you will receive something this year packed in Styrofoam. Although Styrofoam is an extremely useful product, it is incredibly harmful to our environment. Though most Styrofoam isn’t recycled, packaging Styrofoam is. The Environmental Concerns Committee will be collecting packaging Styrofoam (though not the “peanuts”) on the weekend of December 27th /28th. We will have bins set up and marked back behind the cafeteria near the dumpsters. Just bring any packaging Styrofoam you have with you to church that weekend and put in one of the bins. We will see that it gets recycled properly. Thanks. Remember, you do make a difference, please make it a positive one! Thanks, Environmental Ernie
