Following Christ takes more than simply believing in him or doing what he asks of us. Jesus wants you to be more than just a believer—he wants you to be his disciple and friend. Follow Me: Meeting Jesus in the Gospel of John is your guide to a personal encounter with Christ. As the Good Shepherd, Jesus seeks us. He comes to meet us and beckons us to follow him. He calls us to be his disciples, to trust him, to open ourselves to his merciful love, and to love others as he has loved us. Follow Me invites you to experience the joy of a renewed friendship with Christ. In this study you will learn what it takes to follow Christ and discover the joy of divine friendship. You will see how God, and only God, can satisfy the deepest desires of your heart.
This eight-week study begins on Tuesday, September 10 from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. in the Parish Life Center.
Please RSVP no later than August 2 to Debbie Shearn at dkshea01@hotmail.com
PREP is the religious education program here at St. Albert for children in grades K-8 who do not attend St. Albert the Great School. It is a great opportunity for children to learn about their Catholic faith and grow in their relationship with God. PREP students in sacramental grades receive preparation as part of their PREP classes, along with some additional activities. Registration for PREP Academic year 2024-25 is now open.
Those who were in the PREP program last year are encouraged to turn in their registration forms for this year. We welcome and encourage new families to the PREP program!
