WORSHIP
Father’s Day Mass Intentions
If you would like to offer up in prayer an intention at the Father’s Day Masses this year, envelopes are due by Sunday, June 11th.
Mass Schedules
Saturday, June 17th
The Saturday evening Mass will be held at 4:00pm due to the Summer Picnic.
Eucharistic Adoration
Eucharistic Adoration will be offered once a week on Wednesday from 12:00-4:00pm during the summer months. The best time you spend on earth is with Jesus, your Best Friend, in the Blessed Sacrament! “How great is the value of conversation with Christ in the Blessed Sacrament, for there is nothing more consoling on earth, nothing more efficacious for advancing along the road of holiness!” -Pope Paul VI
EUCHARISTIC REVIVAL
Jesus Christ invites us to return to the source and summit of our faith in the celebration of the Eucharist. The National Eucharistic Revival is a movement to restore understanding and devotion to this great mystery by helping us renew our worship of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist.
St. Albert Eucharistic Procession
SUNDAY, JUNE 11TH, 9:30AM
All are invited to the Saint Albert the Great Eucharistic Procession on Sunday, June 11, 2023 at 9:30 a.m. around the St Albert campus.
The Eucharistic Revival Year kicks off June 10th & 11th with the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ. In honor of this great feast day and to rev up our Revival year, we will be having a Eucharistic Procession on Sunday, June 11th between the 8 a.m. & 10:30 a.m. Masses. We will start off in the church at 9:30a.m. and have an outdoor procession that will go around the St. Albert campus. We will come back to church for Benediction at 10:15 a.m.
In the case of rain we will have adoration & benediction in the church.
The Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus
Friday, June 16th , is the Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. This celebration always occurs on the Friday after the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ. The devotion to the Sacred Heart emphasizes the unmitigated love, compassion and long-suffering heart of Christ toward humanity.
In conjunction with the Eucharistic Revival, we will be having music at that Mass as well as Eucharistic Adoration immediately after Mass until 10:30 a.m.
The Veil Removed
Chris Magruder, the founding member of The Veil Removed, said: "As a cradle Catholic who has continued to learn the Catholic faith, I continue to be surprised by the beauty and magnificence of the faith. When I began learning what happens behind the veil at Mass, my whole Mass experience changed. Suddenly I wanted to be in Mass daily and encounter the power and graces that come from receiving Jesus." It is the Lord’s desire to remind all people of the beauty and the truths of the Mass. And thus The Veil Removed has been born!

Lectio: Eucharist
Discovering the Mass in the Old and the New Testament.
Through the Augustine Institute on FORMED
“Lamb of God”, “The Bread of Life,” “The Body and the Blood of Christ” . . . . these are phrases we know from the Mass. But do we understand what they mean in the greater and deeper context of Scripture and Church teaching? We will discover firsthand how Christ’s Body and Blood are integral and wondrous part of God’s plan for our salvation. Dr. Brant Pitre, acclaimed author and teacher digs down to biblical root of the Eucharist through its foreshadowing in the miraculous events of the Old Testament, the Gospels, and Apostolic teaching.

SOCIAL CONCERNS
Crusade Thanks You!
Our parish is truly blessed to have such compassionate and generous people. The Crusade for Children collection is always a success because of you. Our contribution this year was $11,607 ~ #2 of all Louisville area parishes! Since 1995, the Archdiocese of Louisville has contributed 9.1 million dollars to the Crusade for Children. This community-wide effort changes the lives of children with special needs, and many families and schools in the Archdiocese have benefited directly from the Crusade. Thank you to all who participated in this worthy cause that directly impacts our local community.
Loaves & Fishes
THANK YOU!
Thank you to everyone who donated to the Eastern Areas Community Ministries canned food collection. St. Albert provided 208lbs of food in May! Your gift will help empower individuals in our community to be fed, sheltered and safe!
Our community is stronger when our neighbors are fed, sheltered, and safe. EACM assists with food, utilities and rent; provides workshops and mentoring on financial literacy and professional training; and provides English classes and support to immigrants.
PASTORAL CARE
Markey’s Group
The next gathering for Markey’s Group will take place on Tuesday, June 20th at 5:00pm. We will be dining this month at Connors, located at 615 S. Hurstbourne Parkway. This will be the first trip to Connors for our group and we are looking forward to a new dining experience.
Markey’s Group is a gathering of individuals who have experienced the death of a spouse. We meet once a month at a local restaurant for good food and fun conversation. We always welcome new members. We will meet this month directly at the restaurant. If you would like more information or you plan to attend, please contact Mike Ahrens at (502) 836-7847 or michaelahrens93@yahoo.com. We ask that you call, text, or e-mail by Monday, June 19th so that we can insure a proper number for our reservation.
Hope & Healing Group: Substance Abuse Passing
St. Albert the Great hosts a monthly support group for those who have lost a loved one from any type of substance use. Please come and connect with others journeying through the same type of loss. The group meets the 3rd Wednesday of each month from 6:30 to 8:00pm. The next meeting will be June 21st in the Sacred Heart Center. Contact Laura Graven at lgraven@stalbert.org or 425-3940 ext. 169 for more information.
COMMUNITY
Summer Picnic Needs You!
If you and your family enjoy the fun and fellowship that comes with this event, we ask that you please consider signing up to assist for a couple hours one night.
Work at a Booth
Can you spare an hour or two? Volunteer to work a booth or be a Blackjack dealer. It's a small time commitment, but a big way to help! Show our community how GREAT our picnic is!
Win a Cake and Work it too!
Be the icing on the the cake by volunteering! School families, we are counting on you to help out at the cake booth. We promise lots of fun for all workers and a great chance to meet new St. Albert friends!
Set Up Crew
The St. Albert the Great Picnic setup starts on Sunday! Volunteer to help with set up/tear down. Since we have no magic fairies or wands, your help is appreciated! As always, we will have a fun time working together to ensure the success of one of our parish's best events.
SCHOOL

STEWARDSHIP
