July 4th Schedule for Weekly Bulletin
If you need to include your message in the Weekly Bulletin and Parish Post please make note of the following deadlines: Announcements for the weekend of July 6th must be received by Monday, June 23rd.
Mass will be held at 4:00 PM (not 5:00 PM) on Saturday June 21st, and will be a quiet Mass without music. We hope everyone will join us at the Summer Picnic after Mass for an evening of live music, food and beverages, games and fun! We will not be offering confession before Mass.
Tuesday, June 24th at 5:00PM
Join us for a special 5:00pm Mass on Tuesday, June 24 as we celebrate the Solemnity of the Nativity of St. John the Baptist — a man who lived with bold faith, spoke the truth with courage, and pointed others to Christ. St. John’s mission still speaks to us today: to prepare our hearts for Jesus and live lives of purpose and humility.
June 25th | 5:00pm | Church
The Marian Center is celebrating the 44th anniversary of the apparitions at Medjugorje, with holy Mass,on Wednesday, June 25, 5pm, at St. Albert the Great.
Our Lady appeared to six children in the village of Medjugorje on June 25, 1981 with the message of peace between God and man and between people.” This message has spread throughout the whole world, inspiring global prayer movements and devotion to the Virgin Mary, the Queen of Peace.
Sunday, June 22nd after the 10:30a.m. Mass
On June 21/22 we will celebrate the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ. In honor of this great feast day, we will be having an outdoor
Eucharistic Procession on Sunday, June 22nd after the 10:30a.m. Mass. The procession will begin in the church at the conclusion of Mass. We will process outside and walk around the St. Albert campus. Benediction in the church will conclude the procession. We encourage everyone to participate!
Processions are important because they remind us that we are pilgrims journeying through this earthly existence following Jesus on “the Way”. When we have a Eucharistic Procession, not only are we gazing upon our Eucharistic Lord, but we are walking with him. We experience what the disciples did 2000 years ago as they walked with Jesus, proclaiming the Good News to the world.
Please note the following changes to our parish Mass schedule beginning Monday June 30th, based on feedback received from the recent Mass time survey:

Thursday Mass will move from 8:30am to 12:00pm.
Thursday St. Albert School Mass will now be held at 8:00am.
Saturday Vigil Mass will begin one hour earlier at 4:00pm instead of 5:00pm.
Reconciliation & Rosary:
Reconciliation will be offered immediately after Mass on Monday and Thursday. Saturday Reconciliation will move up one hour to 2:45pm.
The Rosary will be offered at 11:30am on Monday and Thursday. Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday & Saturday will remain at the current time of 8:00am. The Divine Mercy Chaplet will continue to be said at 9:00am after the Tuesday daily Mass.
We’re looking for volunteers to help with our livestream Masses! It’s simple, rewarding, and a great way to get involved—especially for junior high and high school students looking to serve the parish.
Volunteers arrive about 15 minutes before Mass to launch the streaming software and then operate the camera during Mass. Don’t worry—camera angles are pre-programmed, and full training is provided! If you’re comfortable with basic tech or want to learn, we’d love to have you on the team. Help us bring Mass to those who can’t join us in person!
To learn more or sign up, contact Laura Sullivan lsullivan@stalbert.org or Kelly Evans kevans@stalbert.org at the parish office.
Church Cleaning Volunteers
People are needed to help clean the sanctuary and adjoining areas of our beautiful church. We currently have 4 teams that take a turn once a month. If you enjoy being active and take pride in a clean church, please consider joining one of our teams!
Church Cleaning Coordinator
Many thanks to Lisa Ratterman who has so dutifully served as our Church cleaning coordinator for over 5 years! We are in need of someone to take over this role. Duties include scheduling the cleaning teams throughout the year - ensuring each team has enough volunteers. One would also make sure the cleaning supply closet is organized and complete with items needed.
Please contact Laura Sullivan, 425-3940 ext 148 or lsullivan@stalbert.org if interested.

June 28th & 29th
Next weekend, we will take up a special collection for our parish chapter of the St. Vincent de Paul Society. Your generous donations help provide critical assistance with rent and utilities for struggling seniors, and families right here in our community. Every gift, no matter the size, brings hope and relief to those facing hardship. Thank you for helping us serve Christ by serving others in need!
July 5th & 6th
Our July collection will benefit the Schuhmann Center.
They are in need of the following:
deodorant
bar soap
shampoo
razors
shaving cream
toothpaste
toothbrushes
laundry detergent
Being able to afford clean clothes, hygiene products, and a clean environment can significantly impact a person's ability to participate in employment, school, and social activities. Food assistance programs often focus on food, leaving these essential needs uncovered. Social services and food pantries help bridge this gap by distributing non-food items to those facing food insecurity.
We are deeply grateful to all our parishioners for your generous support over the past months! Your kindness brought comfort to the homeless during the frigid winter months. As we now enter the heat of summer, the needs of those we serve are changing. Items such as body wash, spray deodorants, light cotton boxer shorts (M, L, XL), and white cotton socks are especially helpful during this time.
Donations can be placed in the basket at the back of the Church near the 10th Station of the Cross. Thank you once again for your continued care and generosity—your support brings hope and dignity to many.
