We are overflowing with gratitude for everyone who helped make our Summer Picnic such a joyful and successful event!
A special thank you to our Picnic Chair, Chris Boehlein who dedicated countless hours to coordinating every detail and to our hard-working committee members who carried out the behind-the-scenes operations—from booking bands and organizing games, raffles and prizes to planning menus, overseeing setup and cleanup, ensuring safety, and managing parking. Your leadership makes it all possible!
A shoutout to Angela Augustine, who once again led our most popular attraction—the Cake Booth—and to Ashley Jaha, whose creativity and persistence brought in amazing raffle prizes, including a golf cart and a signed bottle of Pappy Van Winkle.
Thank you all for your time and dedication. You made this year’s picnic a true celebration of our parish and school community!
Congratulations to all our raffle winners—especially those taking home the $10,000 cash the coveted golf cart! And thank you to everyone who supported our raffles—whether by buying a chance or helping sell tickets to friends and family. We couldn't to it without you! We’re looking for volunteers to help with our livestream Masses! It’s simple, rewarding, and a great way to get involved—especially for junior high and high school students looking to serve the parish.
Volunteers arrive about 15 minutes before Mass to launch the streaming software and then operate the camera during Mass. Don’t worry—camera angles are pre-programmed, and full training is provided! If you’re comfortable with basic tech or want to learn, we’d love to have you on the team. Help us bring Mass to those who can’t join us in person!
To learn more or sign up, contact Laura Sullivan lsullivan@stalbert.org or Kelly Evans kevans@stalbert.org at the parish office.
Church Cleaning Volunteers
People are needed to help clean the sanctuary and adjoining areas of our beautiful church. We currently have 4 teams that take a turn once a month. If you enjoy being active and take pride in a clean church, please consider joining one of our teams!
Church Cleaning Coordinator
Many thanks to Lisa Ratterman who has so dutifully served as our Church cleaning coordinator for over 5 years! We are in need of someone to take over this role. Duties include scheduling the cleaning teams throughout the year - ensuring each team has enough volunteers. One would also make sure the cleaning supply closet is organized and complete with items needed.
Please contact Laura Sullivan, 425-3940 ext 148 or lsullivan@stalbert.org if interested.

The Bible is full of passages about angels who are sent to accomplish God’s will. Angels speak for God, direct the course of nations, and protect God’s people. They worship God and deliver God’s judgment. In Angels in the Bible, Fr. George Smiga examines some of the Bible’s most fascinating passages about angels, exploring their ministry on God’s behalf and drawing insights for our own spiritual lives. Because angels are mediators of God’s presence and action, studying angels is studying God. Commentary, study and reflection questions, prayers, and access to online lectures are included. 6 lessons. Please RSVP to Debbie Shearn by email no later than August 11th at dkshea01@hotmail.com.

This weekend, we will take up a special collection for our parish chapter of the St. Vincent de Paul Society. Your generous donations help provide critical assistance with rent and utilities for struggling seniors, and families right here in our community. Every gift, no matter the size, brings hope and relief to those facing hardship. Thank you for helping us serve Christ by serving others in need!
July 5th & 6th
Our July collection will benefit the Schuhmann Center.
They are in need of the following:

razors
shaving cream
toothpaste
toothbrushes
laundry detergent
Being able to afford clean clothes, hygiene products, and a clean environment can significantly impact a person's ability to participate in employment, school, and social activities. Food assistance programs often focus on food, leaving these essential needs uncovered. Social services and food pantries help bridge this gap by distributing non-food items to those facing food insecurity.
