Christmas is just a few days away. Perhaps you will receive something this year packed in Styrofoam. Although Styrofoam is an extremely useful product, it is incredibly harmful to our environment. Though most Styrofoam isn’t recycled, packaging Styrofoam is. The Environmental Concerns Committee will be collecting packaging Styrofoam (though not the “peanuts”) on the weekend of December 27th /28th . We will have bins set up and marked back behind the cafeteria near the dumpsters. Just bring any packaging Styrofoam you have with you to church that weekend and put in one of the bins. We will see that it gets recycled properly. Thanks. Remember, you do make a difference, please make it a positive one! Thanks, Environmental Ernie
Note: We will recycle Holiday lights on the weekends of January 3rd /4th and 10th/11th.
