Have you ever wondered, "Why does the Church do that?" Go ahead – ask a priest! You can ask about anything – liturgy, prayer, church doctrine and parish life… Our goal is to provide a forum for guidance and information. So go ahead and ask your question… Submit questions in the back of church or online below.
Thanks for submitting your excellent questions! The Fathers are busy preparing the answers. If you submitted a question with an email they will reply directly to you. If you sent in an anonymous question the answer will be published in the Parish Post and/or Bulletin. Questions will be answered in the order they are received. Please allow some time for a response.

Hurricane Helene has devasted parts of Florida, Georgia, both Carolinas, Virginia and Tennessee. We pray for those who lost their lives; and for those whose homes and livelihoods have been impacted by the hurricane. St. Albert will be taking up a second collection this weekend of October 12 & 13 if parishioners would like to give through the parish. Funds will be used to support emergency response and reconstruction efforts for the civic and faith communities affected. Checks should be made payable to St Albert the Great with "Hurricane Helene Relief" in the memo.

Environmental Concerns Committee
This weekend we are celebrating “Our Common Home” at St. Albert. It’s a time to reflect on the need for all of us to constantly be aware of our environment and ways we can protect it. We will have a table in the gathering space. On it our copies of Pope Francis’ guidebook “Our Common Home,” as well as Environmental Ernie bookmarks which have the QR code to our new Environmental Ernie web site. You can even pick up a free vase, made from the candles we clean out from church. We invite everyone to stop by the table and pick up whatever materials you would like. As always, we invite you to help care for our common home and do all you can to protect our home for this and all future generations. Remember, you do make a difference, please make it a positive one! Thanks.
In today’s Gospel, Jesus says: “Go, sell what you have, and give to the poor and you will have treasure in heaven; then, come follow me.”
Through your gifts, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul was able to bring God’s love and mercy to 143 families, providing $15,306.89 for utility, rent and other bills. God Bless You! Click the button below to view the 4th Quarter Financial Report.
