1- 10 oz. pkg. frozen chopped broccoli
1 1/2 sticks margarine
1 med. onion, chopped
1/2 cup Cheese Whiz or cubed Velveeta
1/2 cup milk
1 1/2 cups raw rice
1 can cream of chicken or mushroom soup
Thaw broccoli. In large skillet, melt oleo. Sauté onion and broccoli until onion is limp. Add soup, cheese and milk. Stir till smooth. Cook rice. Add to sauce. Turn into a 9x13 greased glass casserole and bake in 350° oven till bubbly. (5-10 min. if done immediately.) Serves 12 as side dish.
