I think Von Gamble Brooks gets credit for this one too. We used to have luncheons to celebrate one of the housewife's birthdays when we lived on Elmwood. I know I first ate this at Von’s house but since the luncheon's were cooperative affairs, the recipe may have come from another neighbor.
3/4 cup chopped green pepper
3/4 cup minced onion
l cup canned crab meat
1 cup small cooked shrimp
1/2 tsp. salt
Dash pepper
1 tsp. Worcestershire Sauce
1 cup mayonnaise
1 Cup soft breadcrumbs
2 Tbsp. melted butter
Combine vegetables, crab meat, shrimp, seasonings and mayonnaise. Put in a greased 1 qt. casserole or in 8 individual shells or dishes. Toss bread crumbs with butter and sprinkle over top. Bake large dish in moderate 350° oven for 30 min. or until heated through and crumbs are golden brown. Shells take 15 - 20 min.
