2/3 cup soy sauce (I use Kikkoman)
1/4 cup white wine
2 clove garlic, finely chopped
2 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. grated fresh ginger (you may use the prepared spice if absolutely necesary)
Cut 1 medium-sized fryer into serving pieces and marinate at least one hour in sauce. Drain and bake 1 hr. in 325° oven. Baste at least three times with marinade. This marinade is great for a steak which you are going to broil on the grill.
