This is a Duncan Hines recipe which very closely duplicates the flavor of a long, complicated recipe I made back in the 50s. It's wonderful as a coffee cake, but I like it any time.
1 Duncan Hines Butter Recipe Cake Mix
1/2 cup sugar
3/4 cup oil
5 eggs
1 cup sour cream
Streusel: Mix 3 Tbsp. brown sugar, 1 tsp.
cinnamon, 1 cup chopped pecans
Grease and flour Bundt pan. Mix cake mix, sugar and oil. Beat in eggs, one at a time, then the sour cream. Pour 1/2 of the batter into the prepared pan. Sprinkle streusel over batter. Top with remaining batter. Bake at 325° about an hour. Test with toothpick. Cool about 10 min. Remove from pan and sprinkle with 10x sugar or glaze with 10x sugar thinned with milk.
