WATCH OUT for WATCH D.O.G.S (Dads Of Great Students)

PHES is excited about WATCH D.O.G.S., an educational initiative of the National Center for Fathering! PHES introduced Watch D.O.G.S. to the school community in the spring of 2012. Thank you to Mr. Steven Murray, proud father of then first grader “J.J.,” for coordinating this initiative at our school. Dads will volunteer one day during the school year to serve as “positive male role models ” for students, emphasizing the importance of education and being “extra sets of eyes and ears to enhance school security.” Please contact Mrs. Broam (dbroam@lexington1.net) if you are interested in participating. Mrs. Broam also serves as the school contact for Dads participating each day. PHES is thankful for dads, grandfathers, uncles and other father-figures who will be assisting in our school effort to create a safe learning environment, positively impacting student “academic performance, self esteem, and social behavior.”
