Kim's Game

5/19/15

We met for a final time today with our focusing power/self-control small group. Today we zeroed in on the mistakes we make and how the mistake isn't what's important it's what we learn from the mistake/how we respond after the mistake. We read the book Beautiful Oops, and we also learned about Roy Riegels. We played a game to reinforce what we like about ourselves and shared compliments with others. We thought about how these "happy thoughts" help us when we feel a little down.

We reminded ourselves how taking a deep breath to slow ourselves down to do our best thinking is like a super power! Now that we know these good ideas, we got to live them~
