Kindergarten--Identifying Bullies, What Tadoo
Connect to Healthy Choices & Personal Safety
A bully is someone who is REPEATEDLY a shark or snake friend.
This person makes not-so-nice choices, over and over and over and over again.
Watch "Sesame Street's Good Birds Club."
Discuss the bully in the video. How does Big Bird feel? Is it EVER okay for someone to make someone feel unpleasant on purpose?
Remind about the trusted adults we can talk to about problems we have. Discuss the difference between tattling and telling. When someone is getting hurt, we tell. If we are bullied or see someone else being bullied, we tell.
Read and discuss One by Kathryn Otoshi.
