• • High dose Nicotine patch, TD 21 mg/day x 6 wks, then

  • intermediate dose patch 14 mg/day x 2 – 4 wks, then

  • low-dose patch, 7 mg/day x 2 – 4 wks

• • Zyban (Bupropion SR), start 1 wk before quit date, 150 mg PO qd x 3days, then 150 mg bid x 7 – 12 wks
