Insulinoma
Dx by 72-h fast followed by glucose, insulin, and C-peptide levels. An insulin/glucose ratio greater than 0.30 or an insulin level >6 mU during a fast is Dxtic for an insulinoma.
Tx: Diazoxide (Hyperstat).
