Dealing with exile, banishment.
A member of a group is becoming more and more anti-social, to the extent that s/he snaps at anyone in the community who even tried to interact with him/her. S/he begins to complain ceaselessly about how noisy others are, "like chattering hyenas." S/he is soon avoided and left well alone resulting in essentially an exile from the group.
The player is confronted by the exile, who realizes that s/he wants things that the group can provide, but doesn't know how to reintegrate. The player is also confronted by the community, who want nothing else but to get rid of him/her since s/he is a nuisance.
The player can side with either the exile or the community.
Side with community:
Eventually results in suicide of the exile.
"I guess s/he found him/herself a bullet-shaped earplug."
"Does the good of the many really outweigh the needs of the few?"
Side with exile:
"For them to accept me, I guess I just needed to tolerate them."
"S/he's not so bad when s/he practices what s/he preaches."
