A postmodern pseudo-religion known as Chestonism hails the self-perceived reborn Charlton Heston as their prophet. They frequently refer to him as "Cheston." Followers are known as Chestonites. They are currently based out of Anchorsteam. Their symbol is a three rifles with their barrels tied in a trefoil knot.
Chestonites not quite as violent as their less-intelligent and poorly organized Reaper counterparts and will tolerate outsiders, but if bloodshed will give them what they want, Chestonites won't think twice before filling you with lead. In fact, Chestonites are generally better equipped with weapons then most on Calydon, as a consequence of their love of rifles and rifle maintenance inspired by their leader.
Players that are members of the Chestonite faction receive the benefits from its status. As the Chestonites increase in influence over Calydon, they can choose to increase guns production, leading to a cheaper weapons, especially for Chestonite members. A consequence of this is choice a deteriorating atmosphere and climate on Calydon, which leads to a passive status effect Industrial Smog, which can be partially ameliorated by gear such as a gas mask.
Led by Charlton Heston, the Chestonites were formed during Decentralization and were instrumental in executing the more organized aspects of the revolution.
