The Southwater Sea is a large brackish body of water that supports a modest amount of life, such as cnidarians. The body of water has some tidal power that is generated by the periodic passage of Calydon between Earth and the Moon.
Various abandoned islands dot the sea, with only the notable Wakwak bearing much of interest. On the floor of the Southwater Sea rests the crashed Space Cruiser Yamato.
