The Underside is a mostly vacant space that sits beneath the surface of Calydon. It connects most parts of the station, but many areas are unventilated and are under the harsh conditions of space. Some service gravtrains were built in the Underside as a means of supporting construction of the station.
Many parts of the Underside have been refurbished by individuals for their own purposes, and as such there is manufactured growth that resemble rings on a tree.

Exploration in Underside; spacewalking zones which may require items like space suit and space helmet.
May lead to discovery of new sector neighboring Calydon.
