A brute is a character who generally, but not always, goes about thinking with his fists before his head. Generally more "adventurous," brutes command quite a bit of prowess and respect in the essentially lawless land of Calydon. Some choose to use their might for good, defending the weak and serving justice. Others use their strength for their own personal benefit, taking anything they want when they see it. Both options are quite viable for brutes, and both have their own set of rewards. Brutes are welcome in almost any social organization.

Brutes enjoy the highest injury recovery rate of any class. Their increased energy use also translates to a larger appetite. A larger appetite is a double edged sword, since it means you can eat more often, but also must eat more often.
