The meteor hammer is an ancient weapon. It consists of a chain ending in one or two weights that can be wrapped around the body and released with great speed and force. A skilled user can deliver devastating blows with the weighted ends of such a device.

The weights on the ends can be as simple as a monkey's fist knot to heavy wrapped metal slag.
