Creosote Bush

Creosote bushes are found in many regions of Calydon, though they are most abundant in the Vast Deferens. During the early terraforming of Calydon, these hardy plants were one of the first to survive on the space platform, though they have been out-competed by faster growing plants since Calydon became more ecologically stable due to the robust F. solaris membrane protecting the station from drastic swings in humidity and temperature.

A consequence of their longevity on the station is the phenomenon of commensal symbiosis between the plant and many strains of Futuris.
