Driftwood Dragon
These heavy wooden creatures are unable to fly like their mythical counterparts. As adults, they typically reside on the southern coast or on the edges of the isle of Wakwak, where they camouflage well as their name suggests. They are relatively slow moving, but their buoyancy allows them to catch creatures that venture too close at the surface of the water.
When it is time to spawn, driftwood dragons make their way slowly up the west side of Calydon, on the mountains' edge to the Pfenniger Forest and lay their progeny whose nascent appearance is similar to pine cones. The young driftwood dragons are mossy and deep green in color, absorbing sunlight through the dense forest canopy. When reaching adolescence, they begin to shed their coats and begin eating small prey such as the chalupacabra. When they outgrow the small game of the forest, they retrace their ancestors steps to the south and the cycle begins anew.
