What is the emotional experience that you may have while doing the empathy circle online using google hangouts?
When participants take part in the Empathy Circle, they have a variety of feelings that may come up. Especially feelings of anxiety or frustration. It may be helpful to express these before people take part and 'name' them. It could be done in a document, video, etc beforehand as well as mentioned at the beginning of the meeting. Also to name the feelings as they arise during the meetings.
People talk about wanting more interaction in the empathy circle. However, the purpose of the circle is to practice empathic listening.
