    1. What is your definition of empathy?

    • Listening to the emotion behind the word choice and understanding people in the context of where they are at without emotional attachment

2. How does self-empathy enrich your life?

    • Deeper connections within my relationships

3. What might be the results if we do not have an empathetic approach?

    • Club each other over the head and climb a mountain of financial wealth banging our chests calling "money, money, money"

4. Were you born with empathy (it has always come naturally to you) or did you receive training? If training, what kind?

    • Yes, I watched my parents abuse the crap out of each other from a very young age

5. What tools or skills do you think are needed for someone to be empathetic?

    • A desire to understand somebody without becoming emotionally attached

6. When you have been faced with an extremely unhappy person, how did you use empathy to bring them out of the unhappiness?

    • By sitting in the darkness with them without trying to change, fix or resolve their issues.

7. Describe an early experience of understanding empathy?

    • Seeing a kid picked on in school and sticking up for him

8. What motivates you to learn about empathy?

    • Leadership by exemplification

9. How is empathy demonstrated in gestures and bodily language?

    • Relaxed but firm and confident body language

10. How could understanding empathy improve your relationships?

    • A completely deeper level of intimacy and sensual connection.

11. Are you aware of your emotions to the point you acknowledge them and don't feel held by them? Please describe:

    • Yes. I live in my 4WD at the beach and am not sure where my next $ is coming from as the bank and taxman rape my accounts and yet i wake up every day excited about possibility.

12. What keeps people from being empathic? What are sources of resistance?

    • Debt

    • Unresolved issues

    • Bad and poisonous relationships

    • Numbing (addiction)

13. How do you believe empathy could improve humanity’s global connection?

    • Greater community and culture development

14. What are the unspoken things that made you realize what others felt in certain situations?

    • Facial expressions.

15. There is a lot of fear around the world towards terrorist acts, how could empathy potentially solve this?

    • By wanting to understand heckling for what is going on for those people

16. Tell me about a time when you experienced a lack of empathy in a work situation?

    • Not having confidence in myself when i was obese on a cattle station in the desert and being ridiculed with the nickname "Pooh Bear" and left out and ostracised from the mustering group.

17. How can we teach others about empathy without them knowing it?

    • Arguing constructively like i am with the Demartini arrogance.

18. How are empathy, sympathy, apathy and compassion different?

    • It makes us human instead of smart monkeys which we are presently being
