( ) You must commit to take part for the full three hours since we work in partnerships. It would be disruptive to come late or leave early.

( ) Become Familiar with Empathy Circles

Have these instruction as reference at the meeting.

( ) Computer Preparation and Use
( ) Have a separate computer and keyboard for each person. We work on a shared google doc and each person will need a keyboard and screen.
( ) Use the largest computer screen you have like a laptop or desktop.
( ) No IPads, Tablet Computers, Smart Phone. The will not work.
Since we work on a shared google document and you need lots of space to do this effectively. The bigger the screen, the better. IPads, Tablet computers, Smart Phones do not work well with google docs and seem to have trouble with Google Hangouts.
( ) Have earbuds available! One of the biggest problems with video conferencing is audio feedback. Earbuds solves this.
( ) WiFi - Sometimes wifi can be low bandwidth and causes jerky connections. Having a direct Ethernet connection or being close to your wifi transmitter can help the connection.

( ) Joining the Workshop Call
( ) At the workshop date and time. Click on the Hangout URL and you will enter the meeting space.
( ) Please arrive on time or even 5 minutes early so we can begin promptly. Coming late disrupts the group flow.
( ) Be sure to show up since the workshop depends on a certain number of participants and if someone doesn't show up it may throw off the team process.
( ) When you enter the call you will be asked if it is 'ok' to be recorded. Select the check box.
The meetings are publicly video record onto YouTube for documentation, educational and promotional reasons.

( ) Typically there are few technical issues to work out for the first 5 or 10 minutes. Such as;
( ) making sure the audio and video work.
( ) having a quite space.
( ) Learn how to mute the mic when not speaking to
avoid background noise.
