M .Why is empathy important for you Sascha?

S. When I was young I had a hard time, and there wasn’t really anybody to provide that.

When I found it later on, I felt really good and safe, understood, cared for

I felt safe, understood and cared for. For the whole human experience. The connecting to the whole of human experience and the common humanity.

M What is a story?

S.

Someone who was a refugee from Iraq, heard many horror stories, coming from a family of Holocaust survivors

Lost most of feeling

It was a very deep experience. I could feel his pain and I could see how he felt better being able to talk with someone. I only listening,.

M The connection with humanity, comes from being there for someone.

S. just being there with a fellow human being.

M: When did you receive empathy?

S: Grandmother gave me most empathy, when I do loving kindness meditation, I think of her as main inspiration for kindness

My kindness inspiration. When she passed at almost 100, she is a real treasure, something I have for the rest of my life
