Road maps

They include:

    • Cities and villages.

    • Roads and lanes.

Conceptual maps

Conceptual maps look similar to road maps, except for:

    • Instead of cities, they have concepts. Concepts are usually labelled with common names.

    • Instead of roads, they have relations. Relations are usually labelled with verbs or prepositions.

In the previous example about plants:

    • Can you identify the concepts?

    • Can you identify the relations between concepts?
