"The neuroscience behind why your brain may need time to adjust to ‘un-social distancing’", the Conversation, 2021-06-28

Jeg justerer dermed mine ingredienser for velvære med en ny komponent som jeg kaller sosialitet…:

"I fear the day that technology will surpass our human interaction. The world will have a generation of idiots".

Albert Einstein (1879-1955)

“All of humanity's problems stem from man's inability to sit quietly in a room alone.”

Blaise Pascal (1623-1662)

“Our social tools are not an improvement to modern society, they are a challenge to it.”

Clay Shirky

"We live in two worlds: one characterized by social exchanges and the other characterized by market exchanges.  And we apply different norms to these two kinds of relationships.  Moreover, introducing market norms into social exchanges, as we have seen, violates the social norms and hurts the relationships."

Dan Ariely

“Socializing is more positive than being alone, that’s why meetings are so popular. People don’t like being alone.

That would be, however, an important skill to learn...”

Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi

“Socialization depends on both autonomy and interdependency; emphasizing one at the expense of the other compromises the balance.”

Douglas Rushkoff
