Oppmerksomhetsagn

“What we call rational grounds for our beliefs are often extremely irrational attempts to justify our instincts.”

Thomas Henry Huxley (1825-1895)

“The very essence of instinct is that it's followed independently of reason.”

Charles Darwin (1809-1882)

“Man’s habits change more rapidly than his instincts.”

J.B.S. Haldane (1892-1964)

"We should chiefly depend not upon that department of the soul which is most superficial and fallible (our reason), but upon that department that is deep and sure, which is instinct."

Charles Sanders Peirce (1839-1914)

“Instinct is a marvelous thing. It can neither be explained nor ignored.”

Agatha Christie (1890-1976)

"With morality we correct the mistakes of our instincts, and with love we correct the mistakes of our morals."

 José Ortega y Gasset (1883-1955)

“Let’s not forget that the little emotions are the great captains of our lives and we obey them without realizing it.”

Vincent van Gogh (1853-1890)
