Th Short Stint - The progress

This was the day where some of the group members, including myself, met up to dive deep into the feasibility of a customised Quinoire cupcakes.

Unfortunately, one of the group member was not able to procure a cost competitive Quinoire as the ingredient, and brought flour instead. We still tried it anyway.

The final product is as shown. We used flour that is ready-made for cakes, canned fruits and whip cream to come up with the following designs

I would say, that it was a fun-filled team bonding session in understanding what is it like to be an entrepreneur in an F&B industry. It is indeed a tricky one!

On a business point of view, we would need to continue to invest more efforts in coming up with a promising product that we would be proud to market on.

At the same time we also gathered some useful information to understand more on how we can optimize our logistics for our Quinoire cupcakes. As we know, to increase our profit margin, depends on our cost of production. Hence, its is essential to understand and apply our knowledge and information on obtaining competitive prices for our ingredients and packaging. Thankful for a kinda acquaintance like Faris, we understood what are our options and evaluations for our Quinore business so that we can come up with the most ideal decisions!

In the meantime, I have managed to close a deal with the hall presidents in getting a slot to set up our physical Quinoire booth! So, on the event of the event, Halloween, we would be able to market our cupcakes to NTU students and generate sales from there! In preparation, I was tasked to design and procure posters to decorate our physical stall, so that we could attract passer-bys to find out more about us!
