12th oct- Learning and unlearning

Imagination vs Reality

Obstacles and uncertainties in life is what makes you stronger. I had heard that sometimes the way you plan life is not how it unfolds itself. I faced something similar in this week. What I learnt from it is that what's wisest is to face it and keep moving towards the goal.

We had a meeting on 10th October to discuss about our recent baking activity. The cupcake didn't turn out really well with quinoa. Hence, we had assembled to make a quick decision about our next steps. We concluded from our experience that it is best to pivot to a cupcake that has some parts of flour and some parts quinoa to make it a healthier option. Below is the image of our baking activity.

On 12th October, things happened too suddenly. After we decided that we had to pivot our business, we realised that the entire marketing strategy had to be revamped. Also, this followed up a realisation that a lot of things remained undone and the biggest challenge was that it was hard to manage everything with current work commitments. Hence, this led to some arguments in the group. These arguments reached to a point that resulted in something that could not be imagined. IT DISSOLVED THE GROUP.

All I knew at this point was that I had to remain calm and there was no way I was giving up. I had to move ahead for the sake of my dreams. It took me time to gather my thoughts and the expectations I had over the past few weeks, but I knew that it will all be okay in the end. Besides, everything that happens has a reason. Probably this incident made me ready for the challenges that were yet to come.
