ET9135 started off with MiE Business Showcase where students from MiE Batch 50 shared about their entrepreneurial journey. It was fascinating to observe three groups presenting their business ideas.

These were the essential and useful takeaways that I can incorporate to my team:

• Appropriate opening: Gets attention
• Provides relevant and well-organized background information
• Appropriate slide design: background, colours, fonts
• Clear visuals: professional, accessible, relevant
• Neat layout
• Uses language effectively: transition words and verbal signposts, accurate and confident expression, fluency
• Speakers answer questions confidently and knowledgeably

After the showcase, I met up with my team members to have a discussion on our team's business idea. We concluded that every member to provide a few of ideas for the next meeting.
