17th Feb - NTUitive

One-North NTUitive by EdgeLab

I contacted Brenda from NTUitive and set up a meeting with her. Me, nic and Leon went down to NTUitive block 71 Launchpad in One-North to meet her. Nic and Leon brought along some cold brew concentrate as well as some cupcakes.

Our main objective for the meeting was to get involved with NTUitive in partnering up for their events as well as to learn and know how we should enter the B2B scenario and approach it.

Mr. Boon Chow also joined our meeting and he had some great insights into how we could venture into B2B:

  • White label: We could produce cold brew at a large volume then cafes could put their logo on it and sell it as theirs. So basically they outsource the manufacturing to us.
  • Co working spaces: These are environments where people like to be energetic and lively and cold brew could be one of the drinks that are kept there on a pay per cup basis.
  • Pricing: He told us about an Indonesian coffee company that priced their coffee according to the average monthly expenditure of people on coffee. He showed us the importance of figuring out the exact value in mililitres of coffee per dollar. This is something to work on towards perfecting.

They were quite willing to have our coffee at their Makan Nights but as of now due to the Coronavirus no events are happening.
