I found out that the most commonly used e-commerce platform in Jakarta is Tokopedia. Hence, I went on to Tokopedia to compare prices of coffee beans and the local suppliers in Jakarta. The prices seemed similar to the price range that we were getting in Singapore from our local suppliers. Below is the list of suppliers I conversed with and looked at their beans:
Out of all the supplier, danum kopi seemed like a good deal. However, after I updated my group about my findings we realized it was better to have a local supplier than to import beans from Indonesia. Hence, we settled to stick with our existing supplier in Singapore.
Moreover, I created the order form for our cold brew coffee and gathered feedback from my teammates. This is what the order form looks like:
Next steps was to complete the website and get it out by 10th Jan. Looking forward to the new year. Hoping for the best :).
