Th Short Stint - The leap


As time was not on our side, on my part, I generated different ideas and realised them into personalized drawings, which were critically evaluated by group members, as well as an aunt of mine, whom is a professional free-lancer in brand designs, who is currently serving the company Lego.

The first top drawing was not well done. some critical points:

  • display of a woman, may means its a product only for women
  • do not use pink as it may mean LGBT
  • whole display does not look like F&B














With that in mind, a simpler yet a more impactful design concept was adopted. The green label had more receptive reviews on given the meaninng of its colours and the simplistic design. This was one design that could be finalised.

















However, this black and gold concept came into the picture when i shared my business journey with a small crowd of friends. In their willingness to support my journey, they also shared their perspectives on cupcakes in general. In summary, some of the important points that i took note:

  • cupcakes are about tastes
  • cupcakes are about aesthetics
  • cupcakes are supposed to be sweet in general, hence they are not seen as healthy foods

With all those in mind, I came out with this drawing as a finalised brand design.

We believe in providing a luxurious feel to our customers when they enjoy our healthier versions of cupcakes, along with customized designs which will be explore more in the our next phase - Research and Development.
