Dear High School Community,
As we continue preparing for next year, we want to highlight several handbook updates intended to serve our students well. The clarifications around attendance, tardiness, absences, truancy, and Academic Support are meant to be pastoral and formative. When a student has missed a significant portion of instructional time, especially approaching or exceeding 20% of their scheduled classes, we want to catch that student with support before gaps become too difficult to repair. This includes six unexcused tardies, which will be indicated as one unexcused absence as well.
This is especially important as students move toward their terminal AP courses, graduation requirements, and university life. Regular attendance helps form the habits of diligence, responsibility, perseverance, and faithfulness that students will need beyond our classrooms. The updated policy gives the school clearer guidance for identifying patterns of missed instructional time, including repeated partial-day absences, and for placing students on Academic Support when needed until improvement is shown.
We also want to remind families of the upcoming uniform transition to CollegePro. Next year will be a year of transition, allowing families time to adjust while we move toward the updated uniform expectations.
For full details about these handbook updates, please look for the End of Year registration packets, and for the uniform transition, please visit the information posted on the homepage of the Weekly Warrior. If you have questions, we encourage you to reach out to the appropriate committee chairs.
Thank you for your partnership as we seek to form students in wisdom, virtue, and joyful readiness for the work God places before them.
Blessings,
Kiel Nation, D.Min
High School Principal

Whether you plan to attend university near or far, you can stay on track with the SAT. Most colleges—including those that are test optional—still accept SAT test scores. Together with high school grades, the SAT can show your potential to succeed in college or career. And if you're thinking about studying abroad, there are more than 400 universities in 85 countries outside the United States that use the SAT in the admissions process.
Parents, be empowered and equipped with the knowledge and resources you need to support your child's growth and success. This page provides resources, and we hope to help parents navigate the challenges of parenting and support your child's overall well-being.
