Dear Middle School Parents,
It has been a joy to watch your students learn, grow, and build community over these past months. I can’t believe how quickly this semester has gone. As we enter this final week, you may see some tired faces at home with a mix of holiday excitement and the weight of final projects and reviews. That’s perfectly normal!
This is the moment we encourage our students to finish well. In assembly on Monday, we will be talking about perseverance, about doing our best work not just at the beginning, but all the way through to the end. The apostle Paul wrote in Galatians 6:9, “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” This is a powerful lesson for both academics and faith. The “good” we are called to do includes our studies, our kindness to others, and our commitment to integrity even when we’re counting down the days to Christmas break.
Students, we see your effort. Keep pressing onward. Organize your tasks, ask for help if you need it, and encourage one another. Remember that your identity is not found in a grade, but in being a loved and capable child of God, equipped to do the work before you.
Parents, thank you for being steady partners in this journey. Your support at home, providing quiet spaces, words of affirmation, and prayer makes all the difference. Let’s remind our children that their ultimate purpose is to glorify God in all they do, including how they complete this semester.
As a school family, let’s cross this finish line together with grace, diligence, and a spirit of peace. You’ve got this!
Blessings,
Will Schroeder
Middle School Principal

Please see the attached article for some ideas on how to reset some expectations during this break, and let me know if I can help in any way.
